Our Mission

We are people of grace given by god as a witness to all

Our Vision

It is the purpose of Garden Villas Baptist Church to be a resourceful l nucleus of ministry, which proclaims the hope of Jesus Christ to the community at large. We are called to provide understanding for a relationship with Him and leading people to worship Jesus as Lord.

Our Strategy

It is to encourage and equip people to purse intimacy with God, community with insiders, and influence with outsiders.

Our Core Values

1. We Are Committed To Prayer:

“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”
(Jeremiah 33:3)

Personally and Corporately
* Schedule it at a time you know you can commit to.
* Remember to do it throughout the day.
* Focus on it by clearing everything that’s on your mind.
* Return to it by living in God’s grace.
2. We Are Committed To Scripture

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
(2 Timothy 3:16-17)

“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
(2 Timothy 2:15)

We are committed to the development of Biblically  informed people who embrace the truth of God’s Word.
3. We Are Committed To Worship

“Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.”
(Psalm 29:2)

We are committed to Worship because we believe that when our worship honors God, all of out other core values are strengthened.
4. We Are Committed The Gospel

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes,” (Romans 1:16)

We believe the gospel is the heart of Christianity. The cross pf Christ stands at the center of redemptive history. Our salvation was accomplished in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. God has loved sinners at the cost of his Son. Salvation is received by grace through faith in Christ alone. Christ’s alone. Christ’s perfect righteousness is substituted for our sinfulness.

“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for hope that you have.”
(1 Peter 3:15)

It is the responsibility of every Christian to share the Good News with those whom God brings us into contact. We practice personal sharing about Christ and inviting friends to church.
5. We Are Committed Missions

So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
(John 20:21)

At the core of church’s being, every member of this congregation must be involved in helping bring someone to Christ. This is why our church exists. It’s our purpose.
