Come join us July 11th through July 15th for Vacation Bible School - Hero Headquarters - We Kids Join Forces With God. Time is 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Your children will discover how God can use them to make a difference in any situation.

Come join us next Sunday April 24, ,2011 at 6:30 to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Experience a time of worship and remembrance and then stay and enjoy a wonderful  breakfast with us.  The service will be outside as weather permits.  May God bless you on this very special day of the Christian faith.

We were rain out in March so on September 18th Garden Villas Baptist Church will be celebrating it's 70th anniversary. It has been a blessing to serve God for all these years in one of the best communities in Houston.  We are inviting everyone to come and take part in this joyous occasion. The festivities will start at 12:00pm and last till 5:00pm.  There will be lots of activities and free food.  We are planning to have some live music.  So please set aside some time to drop by. 

We will be having a garage sale on May 13&14th.  Proceeds will go to help support our Vacation Bible School in July.  We have lots of good things that you just can not do without. 

We will also be selling tickets for BBQ plates for our annual BBQ. These will be handed out on May 14th.  Plates will include BBQ brisket, potato salad and beans. Cost is $7.50 a plate. This money will go to support our youth.
